About the TxHmL

Texas Home Living (TxHmL) is a Medicaid waiver supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities who live in their own homes or with family. It provides community support, employment assistance, adaptive aids, dental treatment, and other services that enable individuals to live in the community rather than in institutional settings. TxHmL has the same HHSC compliance framework as HCS, IPC documentation, Certified Medication Aide credentialing, ANE reporting within 1 hour, and TAC Title 26/40 standards, with services adapted to in-home and family-based settings. CareHub serves TxHmL providers with the same HHSC-aligned templates as HCS, configured for home-based service delivery.

Oversight: Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC)
